Strictly no caffeine, alcohol, aspirins or pain killers of any kind for up to 48 hours before your visit.
As a precaution, clients may not be on any antibiotics for up to one week prior to the appointment.
If you plan to go on a vacation, it is recommended to schedule your vacation a minimum of 3 weeks after the procedure.
You must be off acutane for at least 12 months.
You must stop using retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment and during the healing process.

Every clients' skin is unique and will respond to this procedure differently. This information acts as a guideline only.
Thoroughly wash your hands before touching the tattooed area.
With a clean cotton swab apply a THIN layer of Aquaphor 2 times a day for up to 4 days.
Immediately after the procedure, the tattooed area will appear dark and more sharply defined. This will happen for the first few days following the first visit.
Swelling and redness is minimal on most clients and will typically disappear within 24-48 hours.
The complete healing process takes about 4-6 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. If you think too much color has been lost be patient as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating.
Pigment will resurface as the healing skin regenerates. Results are visible after 4 weeks.
It is important to keep away from the sun through out the healing process. Sun exposure may affect how the pigment bonds into the skin and may lead to unintentional fading.
Do not use petroleum based products such as Neosporin or Vaseline while healing.
Avoid pools, spas, hot tubs for two weeks.
Do not use any facial cleansers for the first week as there may be harsh chemical ingredients that may affect how your cosmetic tattoo heals.
There should be minimal flaking or scabbing of the skin during the healing period. Do not pick or scratch; allow the scab to do it on its own to encourage the most natural results.
Do not apply any make-up near the area for up to the first two weeks as cosmetics of any kind may interfere with the healing and coloring of the tattoo.
Do not tint, dye or bleach the tattooed area for one month following the procedure.
No exercising or sweating 2 days prior to your appointment and up to one week after.
Do not submerse your entire face under water or allow the shower to spay directly in your face for the first week.
Exposure to the sun over time may cause discoloration and fading of the pigment. Once completely healed, you may apply sun screen on the treated area. Rinse and dry area if comes into contact with chlorine.
Glycolic acid, microdermabrasion and chemical face peel products must be kept away from tattooed area as continued use may lighten the pigment. If you are having laser resurfacing or laser hair removal after your tattoo has healed, please inform the laser technician. Continue at your own discretion. Laser procedures may darken, lighten, or discolor the tattooed area.
Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow up visit no sooner than 6 weeks following. The majority of our clients' cosmetic tattoos stay true to color and lighten naturally over time. There are some cases, however, where colors may fade to different tones according to the individual’s response to the pigments (like lifestyle and iron deficiencies). Many factors affect these changes. At your next appointment, I will re-analyze how your body has responded to the initial color. Your eyebrow tattoo will eventually look softer and have more of a "powdered" look. This happens with all clients as the skin ages. To keep your hair strokes looking good, a refresher appointment is suggested every 1 to 2 years. Results vary with each client.
There are no implied or written guarantees if you do not take proper care of your cosmetic tattoo. This is a LOW maintenance service and proper after care should be practiced.
